Mentor3 years agoHi @rismi_58 You can include insurance in the postage you charge the buyer for your item. Some of them who are good at shipping costs may have something to say about it. As a practical matter insurance will only pay on lost items. If an item is damaged in transit, virtually all carriers will blame it on poor packaging and most of the time rightly so.
In the case of the item sold for parts only SNAD, if it was broken differently than advertised it would render the item not as described. Good luck!

No. If the item gets broken in shipping, the buyer will get a refund from the seller, per the Money Back Guarantee, as Not As Described. Unless, in the remote chance that the item was described as broken, and even then I've heard of eBay honoring a MBG case for a "broken, for parts only" item. That doesn't make sense, but it's true. Insurance is for the seller.
