Customer's request to change shipping address
A customer would like to change shipping her order from her provided address to have item shipped to her brother's address. I have not printed a label yet. When I asked Ebay's automated assisstant I was told I would need to cancel order, have customer change address to where she wants it sent then repurchase my relisted item. My next question to automated assisstant was as a seller, am I charged Ebay fees on both original sale and relisted sale? My question was not answered- automated assistant said I would need to cancel item. I was not able to respond back. Please help me get answer to fee question.

·1 year agoNo, the fees are credited back to you when you cancel the original transaction.
But, you also need to confirm that the person who asked you to change the address is the actual buyer. There’s a scam going around where a random person contacts the seller posing as the buyer and asks the seller to change the address. So check that first.
