Customer wants money back or threatens negative feedback?
So I get this email from a customer today 6 weeks after I sold a unit to him: "Well after trying alot of different things to lower swrs. I decided to leave a negative feedback due to the the high price I was charged. So you could either give some more money off the purchase price or I can leave you a negative feedback for this experience. It's up to you sir". Has anyone ever had this happened? what is ebays policy on somethng like this?

If the buyer does leave the negative feedback as threatened, you can report it to Ebay. They will be able to see the buyer's message.

Mentor4 months agoeBay can only help with feedback extortion if the message came through the eBay message system. emails can be faked so eBay will only accept messages sent through their message system for proof of extortion. You can still report the buyer by contacting customer service.
You can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately you will still need to answer the AI bot questions in order to get help. eBay removed our way to get around the questions so you may need to ask for “Agent” several times before the system gets the message and lets you ask for the call back. Please be aware that there are several things that can prevent you from receiving the return call. Some phone service providers have spam filters that will block eBay calls. Also, this can happen if you are using a VOIP phone number from your Internet provider.
