Question

My wife's account has been locked by eBay. Why we have no idea. We have tried using the chat to get to a representative but that seems to be an endless loop and no results. Is there any way to get to a live person at eBay? Or should we just abandon this account?

Hi @coinstack13

At this point you guys should be in contact with eBay and your wife will have to be the one to do that since the account is hers. We are volunteers and have no account access but you definitely want to get on this quickly and speak with eBay's Trust and Safety Department.

One thing you need to be cautioned on is that any other accounts there are "associated" with your wife's account and can also receive the same restriction or suspensions. Accounts become "associated" with other accounts through IP addresses, account addresses, names, etc. If one account receives a restriction all other associated accounts can receive the same.

Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
