I have been a seller and buyer on ebay for many years........all I would is a phone number so I can speak to a human. I was sent a message from ebay that something that I bought is from a seller where there were "issues". Did not tell me what and I am concerned because it is a makeup item. The item is on the way. Does anyone out there ever actually speak to a customer service living human? Can someone give me a working and correct 800#. I have hours trying to find where to CALL and its impossibl...

ebay does not have a phone number that can be used. Not since the pandemic.

eBay does not have a public number for incoming customer service, but you should be able to request a call back.

You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.

What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.

Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
