customer service number

Question

I am having trouble canceling an item and I can't find the customer service number. It only will let me use the automated chat and I need to talk with a rep. There is no button to click to have them call me like I usually have. Anyone have the number? Thanks

eBay does not have a support number you can call but, at the link below, you can request a call back from eBay by clicking Have us call you on the left side of the page. If you don't see that option, click Chat with our automated assistant. Then type "agent" at the bottom in the chat box. You'll see an option to request a call back there.

What is the problem you are having? When you say "canceling an item" do you mean end a listing? If so, are you selecting End listing from the dropdown next to the item in your Active items list?

Or are you trying to cancel a transaction? If so, you'll find that option in the dropdown next to the order transaction. The cancellation option for non-payment won't appear until after 4 days have passed.
