Customer service not available?
I’m trying to get in touch with customer service as I had some unauthorized transactions on my account. This is the second time in a week, and I can’t not change my password as the email that was used years ago for recovery I can no longer get into. I’ve already tried with customer service to change my password, and they said they couldn’t help. And now it says customer service isn’t available. It shouldn’t be this hard!!!!! Someone please help!!!!!

If you do not see the purchases on your eBay account purchase history then your payment method was hacked NOT your eBay account. You will need to report this to your payment method and get a new card.

Here's my advice to help secure your account:
#1 Run a full scan with your virus software to remove any spyware from your computer.
#2 Go to my eBay> account>personal information and make sure that all information is correct including your cell phone number, registered email and ship from and to addresses. Verify that your bank account information is correct.

#4 Secure your email account.
Be sure to use different passwords and secret questions on eBay and your email. Do not use these passwords on any other account.
Hacked accounts often start with a hacked email account.
#5 For extra protection consider turning on two-step verification. 3rd option on this page>

#6 Unlink all Social Sign in methods and change your passwords on those accounts too. The hacker will be able to use the social sign in links to sign in to your account again if you do not disconnect this option.

OP1 week agoI CAN NOT get into that account because I can not reset y password because the recovery email is no longer valid. So I can not see past purchases but it shows up on my pay pal account as a purchase. So I can not do anything you suggest since I can not get into my email account that was used to open this Ebay account years ago. That email was tied to my website that I no longer have. I have an apple computer and a virus scan so that is mute.
