Customer service issues with no refund / eBay Motors
I had listed my motorcycle for sale on 10/25 with the insertion fee of $49 for the 30 day listing. It was purchased on 10/30 using the "buy it now feature" but the buyers account was listed in Puerto Rico and I'm in Kansas. I had tried multiple times reaching out to the buyer asking if they had any intention of paying and there was no response. I reached out to eBay and the agent told me I had to cancel the order and would be provided the refund. I even double checked to make sure that was correct and the agent "Diana" had stated in the chat that, "Yes that is correct". I still had yet to receive a refund coming up on today 11/29, so I reached out by phone again and was told that there are no refunds for eBay motor insertion fee's. It seems extremely poor customer service and practice not to honor a service that was not provided and then not follow through with the refund process I was told to follow. Even a prorated fee which I recommended of $40 for the remaining 25 days was rejected and I was told there are "no refund options". How can a seller help when a buyer is non responsive and does not pay and then I was told by an agent that I was required to cancel the shipment in order to receive a refund. This is just a warning for others and should be corrected by eBay to provide and honor what they told me.
