Customer service
This is the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had. For some reason the bank account numbers don’t match and so I’m worried I’m not gonna get paid. And I cannot use AI. It has no options that match. And then when I try to contact somebody or call them there’s no phone number it just is gray and it won’t let me call or get a call back. Does anyone know how I can actually talk to a real person either on a chat line or on the phone?

#1 First make sure your name and address on your eBay account match your new bank account exactly:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile It must be a brick and mortar checking account, not virtual.
#2 Next try this: Go to your payments page and select Add Payment option.
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Then select add bank account and add the new account. Then if the old account is not automatically deleted you will need to delete it.

#3 If you still can not change banks then here's how to contact an eBay customer service managed Payments Agent:
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
Make sure that you don't have any spam blockers turned on and are not using VOIP phone service.

Mentor2 weeks agoebay has not had a public phone number that can be accessed. It's been that way since the pandemic in 2020.

Send a private message with your name, ebay user ID, email address, and briefly explain your problem. Someone will contact you in a couple of days.
