The customer replied to my ad, but eBay says the email is too old to open I just placed the ad 4 days ago.

Mentor2 years agoI believe the actual eBay error says that the message is "either invalid or older than 90 days".
So if the message is less than ninety days old, then it must be invalid -- meaning it was removed by eBay. Possibly the sender is no longer registered or the message was spam (or a scam), or otherwise violated eBay policy.
