Customer purchased 2 of the same items, ebay only provides one label. for two boxes.
I have a customer who purchased two of the same items from one of my listings.
Ebay some how took it upon themselves to combine the shipping.
They doubled the weight of one item not changing box size etc.
and will only provide one label .
How can they do this when I am selling each item on its own boxed separately, with shipping per item but more than one available.
When you look at the listing and type in your zip code and you see the shipping price for your location,
what ever that is, it should be doubled if you buy two items.
I do not offer combined shipping. discounts because of the size of the item.
What is going on please help.

Mentor3 years agoeBay has no way of knowing that you aren't shipping the items together. Most multi-item purchases ARE shipped together. Your case is the exception.
Whether in your situation or not, you should always review the package size and weight and the shipping class of service before proceeding with your label purchase. So in this case, you would edit those parameters as needed for the first carton. Then go back to the transaction and select the option in the dropdown to purchase another label and edit the parameters again for the second carton. You can print up to 5 labels on one transaction through eBay.

OP3 years agoThanks for your response.
I understand that I can print additional shipping labels, but how do I get the customer to pay for another label
When ebay has already given him a total price for both itrms including shipping.
Which he has paid in full as far he is concerned.
So I'm suppose to eat the cost of shipping on the second item.
This makes no sense.
Shipping is around $15 bucks each.
The item is only $29.95.
If I have to pay the extra shipping and with ebay fees on that I'm losing money with my cost of item.
Do I need to list one item at a time.
But this was you loose all your watchers every time you sell the item.
