Customer Help Ebay.de Nightmare
Today I submitted an appeal against eBay's decision regarding the return of an item...
I sent this exact file:
Rejected...😲
Furthermore, they marked it "Case closed without seller resolution."
**bleep** It's absurd! I need your advice on further legal steps.
I also need information about who oversees customer service decisions within eBay.
This really isn't an isolated case. eBay.de's actions in recent weeks have been blatantly unfair and hostile. I would like eBay.de's decisions this year to be analyzed in this regard.
I'm counting on eBay employees' help here.
What are your internal procedures?

I understand your frustration.
However alll I can say is that the eBay Money Back Guarantee works the same way here.
If a buyer files a refund request SAYING that the item is somehow not as described then you have to accept the return and issue a return shipping label.
If you don't then eBay will force a refund, the seller gets a Defect, and they don't get their sellers fees back. The buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
If a seller doesn't refund within 2 days of tracking showing receipt of the returned item the seller gets a defect and doesn't get their sellers fee back.
I don't know if you have a seller protection policy in the Netherlands. Here if a seller offers FREE return shipping on their listings OR is Top Rated and has 30 days buyer pays return shipping they qualify for Seller protection.
This means that after the seller reports the buyer in the return case they can reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer somehow reduced the value of the item.
I am sorry to say that once eBay denies an appeal there's no option left for a seller.

OP5 months agoHi,
Thanks for your reply. It is actually about Germany, but my company is located in NL...
We are members of the Audi Sustainable Parts program and sell parts dismantled from new cars... Mainly through an association of similar companies in the Netherlands and the proxyparts.com portal.
This case is another example of absurdity... The buyer has no complaints about the product but initiates a return 28 days after delivery. Reason: "NO REASON."
According to the returns policy, the buyer pays for the return and arranges shipping. The item is returned to me damaged in transit. I immediately document the damage, packaging, etc., and report it to eBay. From February 24th to yesterday, my wife was contacted by 15 !!!! different eBay employees by email, completely unaware of what the matter was about.
This weekend, I'll create a page about this case and post all the emails...
Result: I don't believe it.
I'm sending an appeal: after 18 minutes, the response is negative.
