Customer feedback removal
I requested feedback removal and was denied by customer service on an item that clearly stated on my description that it was for the "candle only" and the customer stated that she did not receive the other items that were used merely for "staging" purposes. Customer service said that it was not in my description and it clearly was. Are they truly looking at our descriptions or just quickly making a final decision on these cases? Is there anything else I can do to have this removed?

I don't believe eBay will remove that negative. The main photo shows other items. Buyers usually expect to receive what is in the listing.
There is one short sentence buried in the incredibly long description that says Candle Only.
I don't believe eBay would read that entire description with the multiple disclaimers. None of those are supported or enforceable by eBay. I think eBay would read that the Buyer is saying that when she expressed her concerns, communication stopped.

OP8 months agoThe words "Candle only" was indicated in my short description and definitely not buried. My ebay policies are separated and not part of my item description.

OP8 months agoIt is up to the customer to know what they are getting. Sellers commonly use items for staging and making your items appear desirable.
