Customer closed the INR case next day after receiving the item but Ebay still counted as my fault
The customer opened an INR on 15th May; i contacted her and shared the tracking details; the item arrived, and she closed the case from her end on 16th May.
But Ebay still took this case into calculations for INR.
But during next evaluation the INR was showing higher than the peers due low sales volume and ebay restricted the account from listing products.
When contacted ebay support they give automated reply saying that your account has been flagged and blocked from selling for indefinite period. When contact again for the resolution of the INR case, they say that ebay is not taking appeals at the moment.
What sort of seller support ebay is providing now a days? No worder, they are losing their market share in the US.
Any solutions?? If any sensible ebay moderator can help me out here.

OP2 years agoWill someone from EBAY dare replying here to justify their evaluation criteria? And how this is all my fault?

OP2 years agoI know sellers are not directly judged on the basis of the feedback. But they are indicative of the services a seller provides..You can't expect to have 5* feedback on bad performance.

As per the dashboard, I am suppose to be a TOP seller and I have no defective transaction. But the services metrics show that my INR is above the peers due to 1 defective transaction. The case for that particular transaction was closed by the buyers herself after the product arrived the next day. But the blame is placed on me for the defective transaction.
I shipped the product on time; why I have been branded guilty for the wrong case opened by the buyer. The expected delivery date was 20th but the buyer opened a case on 15th.
What sort of nonsensical evaluation criteria EBAY has..To make matter worse the seller support replies in a threatening way saying even I you tried opening the case again you will get the same response. Height of non-professionalism!!
No wonder ebay's market share has declined against its competitors.
