Customer bought item and paid
Now she doesn’t want it, after making counteroffer and paying for it, now wants me to not ship and cancel. I told her to contact EBay and request to cancel she said she did, but I have not received a request for canceling , should I ship it…would canceling the transaction hurt me as seller?

Mentor2 years ago@style_within Cancel as buyer requested and refund the buyer. eBay can't cancel the order for you, only the seller can cancel.
Cancel is in the drop down menu next to the sold item.
While you are not required to cancel according to eBay policy it is the best thing to do or the buyer may file a not as described return request and you'd have to pay return shipping and refund the buyer 100%.
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is sent to your checking account.
