Credit received for a lost book, now book arrived how can I pay Seller for it
Purchased a book and did not arrive. I reported and asked and received a credit from Ebay. The book arrived after an extended period of time. Now I want to pay the seller and don't know how without having to place another order for it. How can I make sure the seller is paid?

The seller could relist for "local pickup" only. Then you re-buy it and select SHIPPING as LOCAL PICKUP so seller doesn't have to buy a shipping label and send it. You will need to give the seller the pickup CODE so they can get paid, after the purchase.
Alternatively, contact the seller and ask if you can remit payment via Zelle, PayPal, etc.. That's not technically by the book. If either of you can get ahold of eBay Customer Service, they may be able to provide a different answer (but they have told me to do this before, but it's NOT within policy).
I think I like the 1st option better though. It protects all parties.
