Credit issued on item not received claim. 2 hrs later item arrived
I'm seller, Early March I shipped item to buyer in US Virgin Islands. On 4/2, buyer opened Item not received claim, I checked tracking right away and still showed enroute, I submitted a credit back to the buyer. two hours later, I checked tracking and item was at the local post office for pickup. I've tried emailing buyer, but he's not responded. Because I submitted the credit back to buyer immediately, the case was closed. Is there a way to invoice the buyer, so he can submit payment? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I now don't have the $$ or the item, $50 bucks is a substantial amount.

Mentor1 year agoUnfortunately once you refunded eBay closed out the purchase and can no longer help you. Also, the buyer is not obligated to either return the item or to you back. This is one of the hazards of refunding for a lost or delayed item.
You can ask the buyer if they want to return the item at your expense or to pay for the item. If they are agreeable then you either send a prepaid return label or a way to pay you back like PayPal or Venmo. Remember that they do not have to do either.
