Cpap parts have been pulled down for no apparent reason
First off, I used to own a medical supply store so I do know what I'm talking about. I know cpap masks are an rx item and restricted from being sold. Cpap replacement parts are not a restricted item. Why else would there be more than 6000 listings under manufacturer Resmed alone? I've sold many parts over the years. The same exact items that I've sold multiple times this year are starting to be taken down. One was a connector hose for a mask. Another was a silicone cushion holder. There's no way I've been getting away with selling restricted items the past few years and they just discovered it now. I know AI pulls down listings so I never use certain words that may trigger a violation. I also check listings to see if others are selling similar items to make sure it's allowed. There's no consistency on this policy. Why can you sell 6 foot cpap tubing that connects to the short tube but not a short tube that connects to the mask? Asking them is useless because they'll just read a written policy that no agent truly understands. Who can actually explain their cpap medical parts policy because I see the same parts I got flagged for listed all the time.
inceptions
Mentor2 years agoCPAP machines and replacement parts are not allowed to be sold on eBay. That's the policy, and that's the reason your listings were taken down. If there are others listed, you can report them to eBay using the link on the item listing.
eBay is scanning the site continually, removing listings that violate policy, but they can't catch them all. There are 1.9 billion listings on the site at any time and new listings are added all day and all night long.
