counterfeit sports card
Summary: jrmurray2 purchased a LeBron James rookie card which later turned out to be fake after being sent for PSA grading. The seller is unresponsive, and since the purchase was made more than 90 days ago, filing a dispute directly on the platform is no longer possible. jrmurray2 is seeking advice on resolution and how to obtain the seller's contact information for potential legal action.
I purchased a Lebron James rookie card in November from a seller. I then sent that card along with a bunch of others for PSA grading in February. I just received back those cards from PSA as the grading process takes many months and the Lebron card that I purchased turned out to be fake. The seller has been non-responsive and since it's outside of 90 days there isn't any way to directly file a dispute with ebay. But there is really no other way to have known it was fake besides waiting the months from PSA to send it back and say that it was non-authentic. I'm trying to get some help with resolution on this.

I am not sure that eBay will give out the sellers information. At this time you would need to file a small claims case since it's too late for an eBay case or a chargeback with your payment method.
