Counterfeit Sony TV remote

I needed a replacement Sony TV remote and wanted an original rather than a Chinese clone. Picked a seller with a price twice that of a clone with a picture showing the device with the Sony logo on the face. Remote arrives - where the Sony logo was it says in large letters MADE IN CHINA. If I remove the battery cover it says Sony. I suspect that this is a counterfeit product that will not hold up.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.
