Counterfeit questions
Summary: amusestreasure shared their frustration about having vintage items flagged as counterfeit despite providing Certificates of Authenticity (COA). They experienced issues with both a Gucci mini portfolio and a Balenciaga City tote. Even after attempting to appeal using a COA and inquiring about additional requirements, their appeal was denied. So I had an item that I listed (a vintage Gucci mini portfolio) flagged as counterfeit. I uploaded the COA and it was denied. I didn’t understand, but since it sold at a consignment shop I just let it go.
I just listed a Balenciaga City tote this morning and it was flagged as counterfeit. I responded to the appeal asking what it was they were looking for as apparently they would not accept a COA. The response was that the appeal was denied.
So, what ARE they looking for on a vintage item? I am blown away that a COA wasn’t enough. I have a receipt but is that acceptable on a vintage item? Or do I just accept that once flagged there is nothing that I can do?

Mentor1 month ago@amusestreasure Sorry to say but once an item is removed do not relist it even if an agent says it's ok as they can not reset the bots and you will be suspended.
It sounds like the bots have flagged your account for this type of item, that unfortunately does happen sometimes.
You will need to sell this elsewhere .
