Counterfeit Product
I recently reported a counterfeit product being sold on E Bay by multiple sellers. I got a response that there was no problem with the seller, or product. I forwarded this info to the real legit company. They stated this stuff on E Bay is NOT legit. I have the e mail. How can I make E bay take this serious. I thought they authenticate their products and not allow counterfeit things to be sold ??

there is no way ebay can vet each of the millions of new listings posted daily on the site. When you report a listing it goes through an AI vetting of the listing which unfortunately only seems to look for policy violations related to taking sales off ebay.
You should try contacting the company again and tell them to join ebay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program which allows them to get fake or counterfeit items removed from the site.

You may not realize it but you have been buying from really poor and possibly China based sellers recently. You need to do a better job of checking seller's feedback profiles before buying from one. A seller you have bought from a few times recently has a feedback percentage well below the 98.6% rating most consider to be the cut off point for a good high volume seller. They have received over 5,000 negatives in the last year.
FYI, while many products are made in China, for U.S. company's, Chinese sellers are not allowed to sell them to buyers outside of China.

eBay relies on rights owners to report counterfeit items through the VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program. If you’ve already confirmed with the legitimate company that the product is fake, the most effective next step is to ask them to submit a formal VeRO report.
Here’s what you can do:
Since the legitimate company confirmed the items are fake, ask them to report the listings directly here:
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/ebay-for-business/verified-rights-owner-program#m17-1-tb2
If they need help or want to email directly, the official VeRO contact email is:
vero@ebay.com
As a buyer or concerned member, your reports help, but eBay typically only removes listings for counterfeit goods when a verified rights holder files the report.
eBay does authenticate certain high-risk categories (like sneakers, watches, handbags), but not all products or brands are covered by eBay's Authenticity Guarantee.
So the best way to make eBay act is through the brand’s direct VeRO participation. Encourage the company to file a formal complaint and submit any proof they have.
