counterfeit postage
Has anyone ever been given counterfeit postage from a seller to return an item that didnt match the description? If so, how did you handle when Ebay closed the case when the item wasn't received back to the seller?

How did you get counterfeit postage to return an item?

OP1 month agoI received the postage label by email and put it on my box and took it to the post office. They were able to scan it and accept it then approx 20 days later the seller said thru my ebay acct they had not received and ebay closed my case. I then typed in my tracking number onto USPS and it stated counterfit postage and my package was sitting in a USPS facility a couple hours from my home. USPS could then tell me that the postage label had been used atleast 2 other times. I have never dealt with this before and am not tech savy so I reported the seller. I received a noticed back on Aug 21st that it was recieved but never heard anything else. I looked again yesterday and it still said closed. I finally found somewhere that said contact a person and got a call back and received a refund. This all started with my order on July 2nd. I returned the item on July 22nd. I have ordered many items on ebay and will continue. I have never had a return though. This was the first time.
