recently purchased lenovo 1 tb micro sd cards. made a mistake, because when i tried to use them they did not work. somehow, i should have known. the packaging was wrong and the computer crashed when i tried to format them to ex fat. tried to talk with ebay representative. they suggested i send them back to the seller. so they can sell them again to aother loser like me? so i contacted us customs enforcement about counterfeit micro sd cards. it is illegal for me to buy counterfeit products in the united states. so i sent them to customs enforcement’s trade task force offices with the packaging. i know i cant get a refund from a scam store. wish there was a way for ebay to have custody of suspected items so they can close the store. unfortunately, the ai chat bot agreed that counterfeit items should not be sent back to the store.

If you want a refund through eBay, you must be prepared to return what you received.
If the item is "not as described" you need to start a "not as described" return within thirty days of receiving it. You will have to provide a picture of the item and a couple of sentences of text about the issue.
If the seller does not refund you or provide a return shipping label you should be able to ask eBay to step in after three business days. The process is automated; if the seller does not cooperate at any point, ask eBay to step in after three business days but before twenty-one business days has passed.
