Counterfeit items and can't reach eBay support
I think I bought counterfeit items. I initially had issues with the delivery but resolved it since the seller said he or she would resolve it but that I needed to close the case first. Later, I found the package.
But, I found out the items were counterfeit and now I can't reach eBay support since I closed my case and can't reach the since my phone number isn't showing up as valid when I type it in to the chatbot for support to contact me.
What can I do?

Mentor1 year ago@yo_10421 Was the first case a not received refund request? If yes then you can still file a Not As Described return request. NEVER close a case until you receive the item or a refund.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request.
Here's what you need to do:
Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.

4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.

OP1 year agoeBay automatically gave the label so I am not sure if it was automated or if there was an actual human review to determine if it is indeed a counterfeit listing.

The return will go on the sellers record.
Once tracking shows delivery to the seller they have 2 business days to issue a refund. If they don't refund then ask eBay to step in and help from the case.
