Counterfeit Items
Summary: dannypm expressed frustration after purchasing counterfeit spark plugs from two different sellers, which led to issues with their cars. They discovered the plugs were fake after experiencing misfiring, despite genuine iridium plugs typically lasting much longer. They attempted to report the issues on eBay but faced obstacles due to time limits and submission failures. krazzykats suggested trying a chargeback with their payment source as a possible solution.
I purchased spark plugs from two different sellers for two different cars that I own. I found out after driving the cars for less than 15,000 miles the iridium spark plugs are counterfeit. Both cars started missfiring. True iridium spark plugs should last 100,000 miles. I have tried to report the sellers on Ebay but it has been past the 30 days since purchase. I also tried to give negative feedback but I see no way to do that. When I tried to report them I keep getting Submission Failed notices.
