Counterfeit Item Policy
eBay really needs to take a deeper look at their counterfeit item policy. Not the policy per se, but how they enforce it.
I'm a fan of all game cards. So much so that I wanted to create my own cards. Not copies of existing cards, but my own art, my own card names, my own game name, and my own ideas. So I did just that. I completely made up a new card, from scratch, all with aspects and names from any game that was brand new and not a copy of anything that exists. I printed it. I listed it for sale, and eBay took it down saying it was counterfeit.
So I went ahead and found sellers that are selling what are exact copies of Magic the Gathering cards. For just one card (Sol Ring), I found 82 results. Search for Sol Ring (proxy,altered). I reported a few of them, and within 5 minutes, eBay told me that they were NOT counterfeit.
eBay, your policy is backwards! You're punishing truly creative people that are designing their own new cards, but allowing people to sell cards that are complete copies of already existing cards.
