Counterfeit headphones
Hi, wondering what to do about a purchase I made 8 months ago, now well past the return date, but only recently discovered that the product was not genuine. I bought a pair of Sony MDR 7506 studio headphones, and was very disappointed in the sound quality. I just assumed that Sony had changed their manufacturing specs since I had last bought a pair. I tried to break them in by playing 100 hours of music through them, same crappy sound. I was ready to give up on Sony, when I ran across an audio technician, who uses 7506's every day, and asked him to evaluate them. He listened to them and did a bit of research, and said "These are fake. You can tell by the color of the screws and the printing on the sides. And, of course, the awful sound. " So I was duped. How can I get my money back? Already contacted the seller, no response. Thanks for your help everyone.

Maybe your credit card issuer, if used, can do a chargeback.
