Counterfeit flags and removal on original, genuine items - WHY?
I am beyond frustrated.
I have a two listings (actually three, but one is a dupe.) that were flagged as "counterfeit items". I have been selling for over 15 years and have never sold a knock-off or counterfeit item in my life and it there was a question about it - I would not sell it.
These particular items (Stanley-branded thermoses) were originally purchased by me at an authorized retailer (Target) and I have all receipts (I've submitted these upon appeal more than once) as well as included photos with the matching UPC codes. I won my first appeal and then I relisted once I spoke to customer support but it just gets flagged again and I have to start the process again.
After speaking with ~five different service reps, no one at eBay can quite explain why this is happening. I relist the way they tell me too, and assure me they have notated my account, and it's all fixed...bla, bla, bla, bla. Well as of today this removal has happened four times on one item (relisted three times after the first flag) and just tonight another removal (different Stanley thermos) came through.
There are many others listed for sale with the same description, UPC codes and matching photos, so I am feeling particularly singled-out. I've questioned whether perhaps a competetive seller has been reporting my listings but I am told that it's just eBay algorithm and my listings are getting flagged for some reason.
I am at a loss and have no faith that anyone in customer support can help me. I currently have three "issues" I need to resolve, but I can not resolve any of them as there is no way to actually resolve them. Has anyone dealt with something similar or have a suggestion as to next steps? I could just take it as a sign to list these on another platform. Very strange...
