counterfeit coin
I bought an expensive coin from a seller. The coin turned out to be counterfeit. I had it evaluated by a coin dealer in town. The seller will not accept the coin back and refuses to refund my money. I started a return process with ebay and the seller still refuses to refund my money and accept the coin back. I am not sure what to do at this point. Suggestions are welcome.

Mentor3 years agoIf you selected not as described as the reason for return, the seller does not have a choice. If he has not accepted the return by the end of 3 business days, go to your return and click ‘ask us to step in’. eBay will either decide to give you a return label, or may issue a refund without the item being returned.
Sat & Sun don’t count. If you don’t see ‘ask us to step in’, wait another day.

·3 years agoEBay gives the seller 3 days the make good if not on the 4th day you ask eBay to step in and they will refund you money
