Counterfeit claims
I have been doing business on eBay for a while now with relatively no issues. Recently, I have received multiple notices that some of my items have been flagged as counterfeit. My main business is selling Warhammer 40k, but I also sell some Age of Sigmar. All of my models are genuine products. A lot are purchased second-hand, and others I have purchased myself. I contacted customer service and was informed that there was nothing I could do unless I had proof that the items were purchased directly from Games Workshop/Warhammer. They are also unable or unwilling to let me know if these counterfeit claims are coming from VERO or from someone reporting them. I had one listing flagged, and I provided the receipt from the store where I bought it. My appeal was denied. Any input on how to avoid this in the future would be appreciated. This is how I make a living at this point, and I would prefer to continue doing business without being flagged incorrectly.

If it was a VeRO take down you would have received a VeRO notice and could appeal and/or further fight it. Otherwise, if something the bots found for a policy violation it is nearly impossible to fight without figuring out exactly what caused the problem. Also there are many knockoffs of these items, so ebay is going to stay on the safe side and remove them.
Regardless, once you are flagged you are on the bots radar for closer monitoring, so usually best to sell these elsewhere. You also might want to ask about this on the game board to see what others are saying about the problem.
