Counterfeit After Authentication

I recently sold a designer vest which passed eBay’s authentication service then got delivered to the buyer. Just today I received an email from eBay that they cancelled my listing due to the item being a counterfeit. It is a vague no-reply email and doesn’t state if I will be receiving my item back.
This is frustrating as there is no clear direction from eBay with how this will move forward. And how something passed their authentication service only to be found inauthentic once delivered to the buyer? Of course, if it shows signs as being inauthentic, I will want the buyer to be refunded and I will want my item back.
Has anyone had this occur to them before? How do I reach eBay for info when all they seem to have available for info is FAQs on policies and automated chat bot responses that don’t help at all?

Mentor2 years ago@thursdaymorning That's VERY odd! If it were counterfeit then they should have stopped it at the authentication center.
