Counter offers
If a customer sends an offer on a price on the item and the seller excepts it. Does the seller have the right to charge your account for the item and send it to me without my knowledge of actually ordering and paying for it? That's what happened to me and I was shocked to see it arrive in the mail. Can they do that? Just because I made a offer, I didn't know I had to buy it, don't I have to agree to actually buy it?
Thank you

Sellers have a setting called Auto-pay. when that is turned ON for the Offer process customers have to provide a payment method before they can send or accept an offer. Buyers will have one hour to change the payment method on an accepted offer, otherwise the one selected at the outset is charged.
Some Sellers do not know that feature is turned on, all they see is an Offer was accepted and paid for.
If you are asked for a payment method in the future you can message the Seller and ask if they will turn Auto-pay off.
