"...could not get a quote for this service. Please check...details and try again" on single order
Hello - I have two very similar orders that are paid and ready for shipping. Both are small items (less than 8oz) that will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. I've shipped almost all of my orders via this service - and via the eBay "Ship Your Order" page - without any trouble. On one order, everything is fine as usual - USPS Ground Advantage is selected, and I can move forward.
On the other order, USPS Ground Advantage is disabled (greyed out) with the message "We could not get a quote for this service. Please check the order details and try again." My only option is to select a different (more expensive) shipping option like UPS Ground. I've "checked the order details" and everything seems to be the same as all my other orders (proper weight, dimensions, etc) and the user has paid the shipping costs in the purchase price. The ONLY thing I can see that is different is that the buyer is a new user (joined in October '23) with zero ratings.
It doesn't make sense to me, but is there some sort of "shipping limitation" on new users? Are there any other ideas why I cannot select the regular shipping as I have on all my other orders? Thank you!
