Could not generate shipping label from ebay due to tech difficulties, buyer wants to cancel
Received notification on 5/2 I needed to ship order number 08-14567-30027 that had been ordered by a buyer. I had been out of town dealing with unfortunate situation and returned home early on 5/2. Prepared package for shipment, went to get shipping label from ebay and received technical difficulties try again later numerous times. Tried to contact buyer and could not find order, tried AI assistant which was no help. Cannot figure out how to talk to real person. Today I receive email saying buyer wants to cancel order. Well I could not find order on 5/2 or get shipping label for it after numerous attempts. I am fairly new to ebay and do not want a "black mark" or negative feedback on my account. I still cannot get shipping label or can not find order anywhere.
What should I do. I tried contacting buyer directly and I could not get message to him using his user mail for some reason. Was unable to give this any attention on 5/3 and received cancel request a few minutes ago. Can anyone help me, will be out of touch for a few hours now. Thank you in advance!!

If the listing is still there and active, it's possible the email you got was a phishing attempt.

OP5 months agoThank you so much. That order was not visible on 5/2 and is not visible to me. Listing is still there, just no trace of order. I have an order number but when I enter it is says "problem occurred" try again later.

You can cancel due to 'buyer asked to cancel' and it isn't a black mark on your account.
To cancel the sale

To the right you should be able to select Cancel Sale from the drop down list.
Chose the reason 'Buyer Asked to Cancel'
App
Selling Icon at the bottom
> Orders
> Click on the order title to reach Order Details
>At the bottom blue drop down list, select Cancel Order and follow the steps.
