Could I specify UPS store for buyer to pick up after buyer remove signature request of shipping labe
Hi ALL,
recently I am shipping an expansive product (>=$1000)to buyer in another state. since the package take 3 more days to shipping out. buyer complaint the package is lost. and then i called local UPS store. finally found out it just delay 3 days to local airport . however, buyer called UPS to change the delivery address to new one. and also he request UPS to remove the signature request. I am not sure why buyer has right to do that. then UPS staff told me that buyer has pre-signature feature for his My choice account with UPS. I am worry about the packge might lost if it go new delivery address(even UPS website can not display what's detail new address). UPS staff suggest me that Option 1: ask seller if he can change delivery address to original address on delivery date. Option 2: if seller does not agree Option 1. (actually seller won't communicate with me due to the complaint of slow shipping). then I as shipper can request put product in local UPS store and ask buyer to pick up with his ID. my question is that if seller refuse to pick it up at UPS store, what should I do next? if seller pick up the product, but claim it is "damaged.", what should I do?
