@mohare33 eBay has 3 different promoted listing methods.
I recommend using Promoted Listings Standard and then set your % for what you feel comfortable paying. With promoted Standard you don't pay the fee unless the item sells.
You can see the help pages for the 3 different options here>
@mohare33 Yes Promoted Listings Standard you only pay the ad fee if your item sells. It is ONLY for Buy It Now listings. Be sure to set your own ad rate % as the ones eBay suggests are very high.
my last questions are, if the client click on the ads but does not buy the products within 30 days and just has a look at the products, I have to pay for this click or not? or just when the purchase takes place, I have to pay?
moreover, when the money will be deducted from my account? when the client buys the product and pays the money, Ebay will decrease it or it will be upfront?
@mohare33 That is NOT promoted listing standard. If you look at the first link I shared it explains each type of promoted listing. Pay per click is Promoted Listings ADVANCED. You pay the click fees even if the item doesn't sell.
@mohare33 It stays the same as long as you select FIXED RATE. You can end the advertising at any time.
1. First go to this page https://www.ebay.com/sh/mktg/pl ( or set up the promotion on the listing when you create it, but by going to the LINKED page I know we are talking about the same thing)
2. Next Select Promoted Listings STANDARD from the drop down menu. Don't select the other ones unless you wish to pay a fee even if the item doesn't sell.
3. Click blue button that says Create Campaign
4. Promoted Listings Standard > SIMPLE
5. FIXED AD RATE ( I can't stress this enough)
6. Choose a % that you are comfortable with. I recommend starting with 2% and see if you get a boost in listing impressions or views. If not then you can revise your campaign and increase the %.
The % stays the same as long as you don't change. You can go to the Advertising Page and END the campaign at anytime. However the Promoted listing % that you set is charged when the buyer clicks on the item and buys it within 30 days.
