Correcting Shipping Box Dimensions
Is there a way to correct the shipping box dimensions for an active listing. Â I have an offer I want to accept, but I need to update the dimensions (increase) of the shipping box.

Mentor10 months agoThis is not possible, once the item has an offer, that information is locked in.

The reason is that the buyer is shown shipping costs based on the information that you put in the listing. If you increase the dimensions, that would increase the price of the shipping and that would not be fair to the buyer.

Instead, you might want to decide if the offer is "good enough" to absorb the shipping difference. Or, decline that offer with a comment to the buyer that there is an error in the listing that you will correct and they can then submit another offer.

Lastly, you could figure out the difference in shipping and counteroffer based on that difference. For example, if the offer is $10 and you need to pay $2.00 more than you stated, you can counter for $12 to make up the difference.

These are just suggestions. But in the end, as long as there is an offer, you cannot revise the listing.
