Correcting my address to receive a purchase.

Question

I want to make a purchase, but the shipping shows to be about $28. I checked to see what might be the issue and asked for a shipping cost to OKC. Seller and I found that my purchase address shows I live in Tanzania. I do not, I live in US. I can't figure out how to fix this. She said if I check out, it will automatically charge me Tanzania shipping even with an U.S address.

If your shipping address is correct, it should charge you the correct price when you check out.

It's possible that you have the wrong zip code set for estimating shipping when looking at listings.

If you are on the website, the zip code to estimate shipping is on the left hand side. If the zip code is incorrect, click it to change it to your zip code.

If you are on the phone app

Do a search for anything

Click Filter at the top

Scroll down to Shipping and pickup to check your zip code.

Here is where you can check your addresses for eBay, including:
-- “Registration address” your official address,
-- “Ship To Address” where you want your packages mailed. It's usually the same as registration, but not always.
