Correcting a shipping mistake

I crossed up two shipping labels and sent both parties the wrong items. Not the first time in 18 years on Ebay. I attempted to contact both by phone and Ebay messages. One party cooperated and I was able to email him a correct label and he forwarded package to correct party. Other party will not answer my calls or respond to Ebay messages. I would like to have package back to help offset costs. How can I persuade him to cooperate or is there any other recourse? He has received what he ordered and a package he may just trash. Thanks.

Mentor4 months agoThe buyer is not required to return an item they received by mistake. Ebay cannot force them to return it.
In the future, if this were to happen again you would need to provide prepaid return shipping labels addressed to YOU and then you would reship the items to the correct buyers.
