Correct connection for gas line
I'm not sure I just purchased not sure if it is the right part for a gas line to neoprene line what issue is that the stainless steel braided gas line connector is a little different than the original metal line for the hookup to neoprene line the line is leaking because I don't think the connection from tube is narrowed down at the end gradually smooth really while the original has a metal ring around it . My question is is neoprene part of the boot type connector is maybe worn or maybe it's not total enough for it not to leak

Mentor2 years ago@reler90 This is not something eBay help can answer , you need to talk to a licensed and bonded plumber that works with gas or you can have a VERY bad problem... blow yourself up, affixation, etc.
EDIT TO ADD. I am all for DYI and saving money but some things are best left to professionals.
