Contacting ebay for gift card help
I can't find any way to contact eBay for a gift card issue. I am sent on a loop trying to get the chat bot because there is no option for addressing my issue. There appears to be no email support. How does one contact ebay? This is so frustrating.

OP5 months agoThis did not work. I went through every possible selection and could not find a way to bring up chat bot so that I could try these instructions. All I get are pages of instructions for unrelated issues and no options. It's disconcerting that there is no way to contact ebay.

OP5 months agoThe gift card doesn't work but the issuer states that eBay claimed it was valid and that I have to resolve through eBay customer service. Can't figure out how to do that. It's supposedly a valid code but my balance shows as zero. I was surprised that ebay has no email support. I am in a loop trying to go through customer service. There is no option for help with a gift card. I can't even get to the chat bot.

Mentor5 months ago@s.ariane Gift cards can sometimes be drained before you get them at a store. This is not just an eBay gift card problem but ALL gift cards.
Your best option for help is social media but I am sorry to say I don't think they will do anything.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Select a category that best matches your problem.
3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with. Be brief when you reply to the chat bot.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)
Monday to Sunday 5:00 am to 09:30 pm PST
Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
