Contacting Ebay - can't find any way
When I have a real problem that can't be resolved by way of self help or the automated chat, I can no longer find a way to actually contact Ebay no matter what I click on. This one is a buyer selling me a counterfeit item and not being willing to pay for the return shipping. This seller keeps trying to get me to keep it by giving me 50% off and other tactics that are no resolution for me. Is there really no longer a way to get a human being at Ebay for help? Thank so much

·3 years agoGo to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

Mentor3 years agoIf an item is not as described, you can file a "not as described" claim and return the item at the seller's expense for a full refund.

If the seller does not cooperate, after three business days you can ask eBay to step in and refund you directly.

Or you can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

If using the "Contact us" link takes you directly to the chat assistant window, you may have to enter some context dependent cues to get to the call back link.
