Contacting Ebay by Phone as a last resort
i never received an item. When i didn't act on the case in a timely manner, i discovered, upon finally getting around to checking further, that the case was closed. Not cool. There does not seem to be anyway to contact Ebay to protest this and inquire about the refund guarantee?

·3 years agoIf you let the case time out and close, Ebay won't be any help.
If you paid through Pay Pal, they give you 180 days to open a case or contact your credit card.

If the seller cannot provide tracking, you may be able to file a case with PayPal (if you used PayPal) or your credit card. PayPal and most credit cards offer some protection for up to six months from the date of the transaction. Only try one of those if you are certain that eBay can no longer help you, as opening a case with either PayPal or your credit card will end any potential eBay case or appeal.
If you want to contact eBay:
You cannot call directly, but you can request a call back from eBay if you are in the US:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
Or you may be able to contact eBay via social media:
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/eBay/
If you have a general question that does not involve account details, you can try asking a question here or on one of the other discussion boards. Lots of experienced users can offer advice and suggestions.
