Like many companies the days of picking up the phone and calling eBay Customer Service are long gone.
You have some options:
-Ask your question here if not on the account level, we have no access to accounts here. This forum is supported by volunteer Buyers and Sellers.
We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type “AGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there.
You buy 2 items from a seller, they dont fit (collectible item protective acrylic boxes)
They seller is not easy to deal with and simply says send it back for a refund. Easy enough but when you go through the process of requesting a refund, it miscalculates the refund and then charges the shipping. In the end, you loose 75% of what you spent.
At that point, its far more satisfying to slam their feedback and damage their business. I know that's not how Ive operated since my account stated in 1998 (1500+ positive feedbacks) but it sure feels better.
I can reach Ebay to refund the proper amounts and that adds to the frustration.

Thanks for any advice

It the items were advertised to fit your specific application then they are not as described. You are protected for that outcome for 30 days from receipt and can force the return with the Seller paying for the return shipping. Here is what we share with customers when this happens:
Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description". eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
