Mentor2 years agoYou may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a chat with an agent or a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If nothing else works, try this link:

OP2 years agoMy opinion is... If eBay doesn't care enough about it it's patrons to ha a customer service support number or email, I should not be using eBay.
When I need their support I expect to get it.
Simple respect should go both ways.
Thank you

It isn't just eBay. Every major company's customer service I've called in the last few years, for examples Visa and Mastercard, has been outsourced to personnel in Asian countries. That is, if I get through at all.
They utilize a decision tree, where you have to type in a number, then another number, then another, etc., and the computer-generated "speech" skips and cuts out so much that I believe it's programmed in deliberately to discourage and frustrate the caller and cause her/him to give up.
If, through persistent retries, the call manages finally to get through to a warm body, the representatives do try to be helpful – I'll give them that – then it's a toss up whether or not it will be possible to understand them through their accent.

OP2 years agoAt least they are human. eBay doesn't really have any real customer service support

What sort of support do you need? Someone may be able to point you in the right direction.

Mentor2 years agoHi @grannyjomaab You've been told how to contact people to speak with at eBay customer service. If you don't want to exercise the option available to you, don't blame eBay. Customer service is harder and harder to reach on every platform because because people insist on calling about the most innocuous things that customer service cannot help. I belong to many Facebook eBay groups, and when they aren't giving wrong advice, they're telling people to call customer service when there is not anything in this world that customer service could do to help them. eBay is a computer program with rules and policies. Almost every situation can be handled by simply following the rules and policies.
The people who respond on this board know everything there is to know about eBay. You've been invited twice to describe your issue here where the responders are happy to help. If contacting customer service will actually benefit you, you'd be advised to do that.
You can always review the eBay rules and policy pages to see if you can find the answer to your problem yourself. Locate the policy pages from the eBay Home page, under the Help & Contact tab. Good luck!
