Contacting E-bay
I want to contact E-bay to let them know my difficult and frustrations trying to report a seller that clearly violated their policies. However, I'm finding it even more difficult to send E-bay an e-mail than it even was to report a user. If anyone knows how I can send an e-mail/message to E-bay, please let me know. Following is the information I wish to convery to E-bay.

I’m writing to provide feedback about a serious issue I encountered while trying to report a seller who violated eBay’s communication and return policies. The reporting process was extremely difficult, and several parts of the system did not function as expected.
When I attempted to report the seller, I repeatedly received a generic “Report Submission Failed” message. In addition, the seller’s profile URL () automatically redirected to their Storefront (). The Storefront page does not contain the “Report this seller” option, which prevented me from accessing the correct reporting tools. None of the standard reporting paths—through the listing, the order page, or the seller profile—worked as intended.
Because of these issues, it took a great deal of time and effort to find an alternative method to report the seller. This experience was frustrating and undermines confidence in the platform’s ability to handle policy violations effectively. Reporting a seller who is clearly violating eBay’s rules should not be this difficult.
I’m sharing this feedback so your team is aware of the problems with the reporting workflow, especially the redirect from to and the repeated submission failures. Improving this process would make it much easier for buyers to report inappropriate behavior and would strengthen trust in eBay’s protections.

OP5 months agoThanks! I'm assuming the username is [Removed by Moderator], and I was trying to use just [Removed by Moderator]. I managed to report the seller via a different method.

Make sure you are reporting the correct username, not the seller's store name which may appear in the listing. The username should appear on the seller's feedback page. Try copying and pasting the username into the "report seller" form.
Many eBay pages have a "Tell us what you think" link which can be used to report problems or issues directly to eBay.
