Contacting customer service
It took me for ever to get through to a real person. After an hour and past to the 3 different people ,I got hung up on.
How can I reach a real person.
The automated system can not answer my question and it will not connect me to customer service.
What can I do?

If you want to endeavor to reach a live agent:
You can request a call back by finding the words "Help & Contact" in small print at the top of any page. Click it and request a call back.

Another good option is to go to eBay’s page on Facebook and click “Message.†It is not live, but it is staffed by U.S.-based customer service representatives who typically respond within 48 hours. Link to eBay's Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/ebay
