contacting a seller
I am trying to contact a seller but when the message box comes up it will not let me type anything. And if I don't type anything it won't activate the send message. How are you to contact the seller. AI help assistant is useless, It just sends me around in circles.

Can you try again? Type in the one line space that has the photo to the right?
You can't type in the big white space, type over where it says Send Message

Are you on desktop or the app?
On desktop, you have to type way down at the bottom where I highlighted in yellow.
You don't type in the big white area.
Let me know if that helps.

You need to click on top of the "Send message" text line -- then you should see a cursor appear and you should be able to type your message.
If that still does not work, try another browser.

- Not all sellers accept questions before you buy an item. If the seller accepts questions, you'll see Contact seller in the Seller Information section of the listing.
App
- Click to the Contact Seller button at the bottom of the listing.
- Type your question for the seller in the area that says "send a message..."
- Click the triangle/arrow icon to send the message. (the icon will turn blue once you have written something.)
Browser
- Go to the Seller Information section at the top of the listing on browser and select Contact Seller.
- Choose the topic that best matches your question on the Find answers page.
- If you can't find a solution to your question, select Other or Still Have Questions, then select Contact the seller.
- Type your question for the seller in the area that says "send message."
- Click the blue send message button to send it (the button won't be active until you add a message).

OP9 months agoThank you for your response. I have done all of what you instructed, but when the box comes up to type your question it does not let me type the message so the box that says send never turns blue. When seeking help it asks for a catagory for your question and none of the catagories match what problem I am having. AI says it does not understand my problem and to rephrase the question. Then it sends me back to the catagory screen.
