EXCELLENT! Thank you for the follow up and letting us know! There should be an "Updated messaging feedback" link in the lower right hand corner of the page, you can share your displeasure with eBay via that little feedback survey.

If this is on the new (but not improved) eBay Messaging then you type where the green arrow is on the screen shot below. Then you click the Send icon when finished (blue arrow).

OP1 year agoThat has never been green - it is always grayed out (not an option)

Mentor1 year ago@rcaspindle-4 I think you're not understanding @mr_lincoln's arrows. He added the arrows to show you where to click. There is not any green on eBay messages.
Click on the writing that says SEND MESSAGE then you can type in that box. ALL of the white space above that is just wasted space, you can't type there. After you type your message click on the arrow icon to the right to send it.

Type below the green arrow right over the words, "Send message" ... I know this is extremely confusing.

Mentor1 year ago@rcaspindle-4. Scroll down to where it says Send Message and click on that. Then you should be able to type a message then click the icon to send
